Description

A radar detector for FiveM — the device in the speeder's car, not another speed gun. When another player's radar keys up nearby, a directional HUD breaks in showing the band, the signal strength and the direction it is coming from, not just a generic alert.

It is radar-agnostic. tRadar works with nothing to add; Wraith ARS 2X, Seeker Dual, RS9000 and ProLaser 4 take a one-line export, and a radar shipped under asset escrow — with no file you can edit — is read through a state bag, an event, or a bridge resource instead.

The UI is fully player-positioned through tLib's shared HUD editor: drag to move, scroll to scale, and those choices persist across sessions and reconnects.

The detector is also a streamed prop on the windshield, placed per vehicle in game — so a passenger reads the same alert off the glass that the driver does.

Highlights

  • Works with any radar — tRadar needs nothing; four more are one line; escrowed radars are read with no changes at all
  • Direction + strength display — which way the beam is coming from and how strong the hit is, not just that a gun is active
  • Per-band tones — Ka, K, X and lidar each have their own sound, and the blip cadence tightens as the source closes
  • Falses like a real one — door openers on X, blind-spot radar on K, never on Ka; MARK and AutoLearn store GPS lockouts
  • Three HTML skins — layouts are plain markup with no JavaScript, so players can build and publish their own
  • Per-player layout persistence — position and scale are saved individually, survive relogs, and never reset between sessions
  • Standalone — QBCore is optional, and only for using an inventory item as the switch

Requirements

  • FiveM, with OneSync (Infinity or Legacy)
  • Requires tLib 1.0 or newer — the only hard dependency
  • A radar resource for anything to detect. tDetector loads cleanly without one.
  • QBCore optional, for item-based access only; standalone otherwise
  • Asset Escrow encrypted
