When SCNP25 may fit better

  • You want line-of-sight based coverage modeling.
  • You want radios programmed in a separate CPS app, like real hardware.
  • You want radios to switch to an extended-range mobile mode automatically in vehicles.
  • Your community has real-world radio or dispatch experience and wants system-level P25 trunking behavior.

Common questions

How much does Tommy's Radio cost?
$99.99 one-time, or $19.99/mo. Both unlock every feature, and pricing is listed publicly on the store page.
Does Tommy's Radio use a real P25 vocoder?
Yes. Digital channels use the P25 Phase 1 IMBE vocoder, or M17's Codec 2, chosen per channel. Analog channels can run side by side on the same radio.
Does Tommy's Radio support trunking?
Yes. Trunked channels assign units to sub-frequencies by location. Conventional, direct/simplex and patched channels are supported too.
Do I need a separate programming app?
No. Zones, channels, codeplugs, towers and server settings are edited in a web admin panel and reach every connected player without a restart. Network, framework and access rules live in config files.
Can I try it before buying?
Yes. A live demo server, dispatch panel and admin panel are open now with no purchase. See the docs.
